I just finished reading The Principles of Product Development Flow by Donald G. Reinertsen. It’s really giving me some perspective on how to build products.
He introduces the concept of “flow”, an idea with its roots in lean manufacturing but tweaked to fit the product development process.
The book walks through flow-based development, offering smart, practical insights that actually make sense financially and practically.
Below are my notes, use these along with the book because you’re missing out on all of the diagrams. The numbering system is there for reference when I am searching through the book. They are the authors numbers.
